Fashion Crush Friday: Kirsten Dunst

Kirsten Dunst is a magical retired woman in her early 30s doing whatever the heck she wants. She works when she wants to work, and is a child star who didn't turn into a raging lunatic, which automatically makes me a big fan. She has a great eye for flattering silhouettes and strong colors, a slightly bohemian vintage vibe, and absurdly glossy hair.

I love the way her hair is falling softly here, the jewelry isn't noticeable at all, and she's mostly focused on the subtle brooches on the dress. The color brings a rosy flush to her cheeks, her shoes are almost invisible, and the bag is structured and subtle. In both of these outfits, she focuses on a flattering solid color and silhouette, and then lets one detail on the dress shine.

These '70s wide legged pants are fun. In a pair of skinny jeans, she would've looked like any other cute girl on the street. But going for the flare on the left and the wide leg on the right adds that something extra that makes her stand out.

She's a blonde wearing mustard yellow heels with a cheerful, lemony play suit. This should not look fantastic, and if it wasn't so well fitted it could look like your great aunt's sofa slip cover. Instead, she's got serious vintage charm.

I love when her Red Carpet style gets romantic and plays off her soft features. The giant red poppies are lovely, and the feathered emerald green is a funky balance to the low cut v-neck.

I love the classic girl around town vibe here. The Ray Bans, the draped scarf, the oversized boots. None of it feels particularly designer or high fashion, but the scarf especially on the right feels so Parisian It Girl.

Which look is your favorite? Any chance you're like me, wishing you made your first million at 12 and were now rolling in the fruits of your early labors?
