Spinning the Color Wheel: Camel

Not that type of camel my friend, although that girl is happier about her camel BFFL than I've ever been about anything. I've always been a big believer in needing to decide whether you're a black/grey person or a brown/earth tone person. However, I'm starting to mix brown and black accessories like a wild animal these days, so I decided to revisit the idea of camel. It seems... not brown to me anymore.

The fox on the right is adorable, and I like the baggy effect of the sweater on the left.

This feels tremendously soft and fluffy for a wardrobe, and the camel somehow has this muted approach that a regular medium brown doesn't.

My most likely purchase is probably a long, classic wool coat. I'm getting a bit bored with my grey peacoat and I like the thigh length here with the lapel.

Or, if you're really the preppy business casual type a nice blazer could be the way to go. As a note, the redhead on the right is Jane from Sea of Shoes, who never makes a mistake.

Are you already in the camel game way ahead of me?
