I had Springtime on the mind recently (Dear Maine, thanks for those photos of baby goats in hand knit sweaters) and I think you've all noticed by now that I'm a big yellow fan. I decided to give a Baby Animal nursery a shot and I'm really pleased with it.
I went with creams and yellows and focused on lambs and bunnies for a theme. Personally, I don't love hate the focus barnyard animals and trackers for kids, but I've always been a sucker for new life in the Spring. I thought that unfinished light wood would pair nicely with a butter yellow crib and an uncomplicated white dresser. This should theoretically be gender neutral, but to me it feels very much like a little girl's room.
I was surprised at how many little details like a lamb bookcase or a bunny stool are already out in the world, but I shouldn't have been because Pinterest truly knows no boundaries. For some reason I can only see this room working specifically for a March-May baby, but that could just be self-imposed limits on my imagination!
There's no little lamb of our own on the Team S horizon, but it's always fun to daydream!
